This Conference will bring together local authorities, operators, consultancy and service providers to share best practice across the bus sector. The Quality Bus Conference will take place in Portsmouth on 23 and 24 of September 2025.

The Bus Centre of Excellence, supported by the Department for Transport, will be funding local authority delegate places. BCoE will be prioritising local authorities but everyone is welcome to apply. Please apply now for your free ticket. Successful applicants will be contacted shortly after this. A waiting list will be held for unsuccessful applicants.

For the second year running, the ‘Bus Centre of Excellence Awards’ will be awarded at the Quality Bus Conference, taking place in Portsmouth on the 23rd and 24th of September 2025. This year, we are presenting BCoE Awards in the following two categories: 

• The BCoE Lifetime Achievement Award 

• The BCoE Collaboration Award
